7 night 8 days Lhasa tour is one of the celebrated package as it grants a miraculous insight into the life, culture and religion of the local people residing here.  From the very old monasteries covered by prayer flags and monks chanting their prayers to the peaceful shores of pristine Lake Yamdrok this package has got it all for the nature admirers. Our tour starts with a breathtaking flight Trans Himalaya flight from Nepal to Lhasa. As you reach Lhasa you will be transported to the hotel and there will be brief description about the sightseeing in Lhasa. In this tour we will pay our visit to monasteries like Gyantse, Shigatse, Sakyamonasatery, Everest base camp with English speaking Tibetan guide in a comfortable vehicle. Lastly, we will fly back to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01:Kathmandu - Nyalam Drive from Kathmandu to Kodari (the border between China and Nepal), viewing the magnificent scenery along the way, the rush green mountains and valleys. After going through the immigration in Zhangmu, continue to drive to Nyalam, a beautiful town on the high way.
  • Day 02:Nyalam - Lhatse Drive from Nyalam to Lhatse, visiting magnificent Milarepa's cave on the way.
  • Day 03:Lhatse - Shigatse via Sakya Drive to Shigatse - the second largest city in Tibet. En route, visit Sakya Monastery which is famed as the "Second Dunhuang", due to its colossal, collection of scriptures, murals and Thangkas. Walking around the Shigatse city after arrival.
  • Day 04:Shigatse - Gyantse After visiting the Tashilimpu Monastery, one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet, drive to Gyantse with its amazing sights - Khumbum, Palkor Chode Monastery and Gyantse Dzong.
  • Day 05:Gyantse - Lhasa The highlight of this day is the beautiful turquoise lake, Yamdruk - Tso. After crossing the Kamba - La and the Yarlung (Brahmaputra) River, the journey ends in Lhasa.
  • Day 06:Lhasa Today's sightseeing: Drak Yerpa about 2.5 hour, and Sera Monastery 2 hour, overnight in Lhasa.
  • Day 07:Lhasa Today's sightseeing: Potola Palace 1 hour & Jokhang Temple 1 hour, overnight in Lhasa.
  • Day 08:Leave Lhasa for your next destination Your guide and driver will see you off at the airport or train station. Your Tibet tour ends.
