Daman is located at 80km south-west of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2400m, falls on Tribhuwan Highway. Daman also offers a magnificent scene of tallest Himalayas such  as Annapurna (7555m), Phurbi Chyachu (6637m), Choba Bhamre (6016m) and Gauri Shanker (7134m). During the winter season Daman receives snow fall of 2 to 3 ft.
