These adventures are put together for families looking for a different family holiday and are designed with the younger traveller in mind. These adventures include fun and innovative guided interpretation oriented to the interests and educational level of young people. You'll meet local families along the way. The minimum age is generally 10-12 years. Trails are less arduous with more time to enjoy yourselves. Really something worth writing about in the school holiday journal!
These trips require a good level of fitness and there will be help at hand for the younger members. The trekking part of these tours involves up to three to five hours of walking each day at a relaxed pace on variable terrain at low altitude. Each night we stay at a comfortable lodge or camp 'in style' where lodging facilities do not exist, using the best equipment including a spacious and cosy family size tent, and well cushioned mattresses.

Introduction to AdventureA comprehensive exploration of Nepal: lakes, mountains, game parks, and temples
This family holiday is designed to offer maximum variety in a limited period, with plenty of not-too-strenuous activity and as many creature comforts as possible. There's everything here, from the fascinating ancient city of Kathmandu, game-watching in the Chitwan National Park to a chance of living with the local family at Bandipur. The highlight is a short trek, with Sherpas and porters, visiting some of the most interesting villages in the Annapurna Foothills.
